Background

David’s experience in public practice spans 30 years. After working in Melbourne for the first 3 years of his career with large practices in the CBD, David saw the light and made the move to Wodonga in 1986 to join Stewart Tracy & Mylon. In November 1996 he decided to establish his own practice and hence David Gill & Co came to fruition.

Over those years David has specialised in providing accounting and taxation services for individuals and small/medium businesses. In addition to this he has also had experience in audit services and client management.

David has acted as Treasurer for a number of community organisations including - Wodonga Golf Club, Community Accessibility, St Augustine’s Primary School and the Albury-Wodonga Triathlon Club.

Helen Gill – Senior Accountant / Office Administration

Background

Helen’s Accounting career started with the ANZ Bank in Collins St Melbourne. Following 2 years with ANZ she made the move into public practice and apart from a few years off having children Helen has remained in that role. Helen worked with BMG Partners Wodonga from 1986 to 1995 and during that time gained valuable experience working in their business services area. She joined David in the practice in 2000.

Gina Lahm – Senior Accountant

Background

Gina joined David Gill & Co in August, 2012. Gina has over 20 years experience working in accounting practices both in Kyabram and Wodonga. In this time she has mainly specialised in the preparation of financial statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals and small/medium businesses.

Gina also has a very good knowledge of MYOB, Quickbooks, Cashflow Manager and Banklink software. She can assist those businesses who need help with setting up these programs and with on-going bookkeeping services (eg BAS preparation)
